In partnership with the University of Maryland School and Doctor’s Community Hospital, Catholic Charities offers comprehensive services focusing on health and wellness and feeding and nutrition.

Health and Wellness
Primary Health Clinic – Doctors Community Hospital operates a full-service healthcare clinic with an emphasis on primary care and endocrinology services at the Mona Center. Contact: 240-563-1026
Dental Clinic – Modeled on the very successful Catholic Charities dental clinics in Washington and Silver Spring, this full-service dental clinic provides routine dental care including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals and extractions. The dental clinic serves patients 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday by appointment only. Contact: 301-615-0945
Legal Services
Catholic Charities Legal Network – Catholic Charities Legal Network places eligible, non-fee-generating, civil law cases with volunteer attorneys on a pro bono basis. In addition to day- to-day operations, CCLN staff plans to conduct several free community education seminars each year, on topics such as family law, consumer debt, employment disputes, wills/probate, and advance directive matters. Food and Nutrition
Urban Farm – Operated by the University of Maryland School of Applied Agriculture, the urban farm plants and harvests significant quantities of lettuce, cabbage, spinach, radishes and other organically grown vegetables in raised planting beds. All of these items are used in the St. Maria’s Meals prepared in the Catholic Charities kitchen in Hyattsville. Join our weekly volunteer activities at the farm.
