“Being a part of the good work done by Catholic Charities has been very rewarding for me,” says Bob, who volunteers at the Catholic Charities Montgomery Family Center. “The days that I volunteer are always my best days.”
You, too, can create your best days by giving of your time and talents as a Catholic Charities volunteer.
We are seeking 100 volunteers to commit to weekly service over the course of a year. There are remote and in-person volunteer roles available that need to be filled in our legal, community engagement, financial stability, and health and wellness programs.
Each role requires a minimum 75-hour commitment, including orientation and training.
As the volunteer roles coincide with the holiday season, volunteers will help staff spread holiday cheer by supporting various activities. Our programs are currently planning events such as holiday games, assembling holiday gift bags and holiday food distributions. More information will be made available on our website and social media accounts.
“I started my volunteer experience with Catholic Charities in late 2015 at the Montgomery Family Center,” Bob says. “My family and I have also assisted with the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs by helping to distribute turkeys, holiday meals and gifts.”
